In 2018 Waiting For Andre was nominated for an International Emmy in the category of ‘Best Drama Series’.

Waiting For Andre is a comedy drama inspired by real events that tells the story of Samuel Beckett’s school runs with 12-year-old Andre Roussimoff, later to become legendary wrestler Andre The Giant, who was too big to fit in the school bus. Over the course of a year we see their friendship evolve as Andre’s dad Boris makes tortuously slow progress building Beckett’s cottage in Northern France.
